Amanda McGuire
Co-Founder
Amanda McGuire is a dynamic professional with a multifaceted background in marketing, public relations, fundraising, and political campaign management. As the co-founder of Advance Strategies and Principal of Mandamac Consulting, she brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her roles.
Amanda's early professional career began in the political arena, where she honed her skills in campaign management and political fundraising. Her tenure at the County of Orange in the Auditor-Controller's office provided her with invaluable insights into governmental operations and financial management. Subsequently, she transitioned to the California State Senate, where she further refined her strategic thinking and policy acumen.
Transitioning to the private sector, Amanda ventured into marketing and public relations, serving as the Digital Marketing Manager. There, she led a team of four, helping to spearhead brand-building initiatives, content marketing strategies, and public outreach campaigns for clients such as the Disneyland Resort and the County of Orange.
A graduate of Cal State Fullerton, Amanda earned her degree in Business Administration- Marketing in 2019.
Brian Mew
Co-Founder
Brian Mew is the owner of MewCo (Mew Consulting), a political consulting and fundraising firm in Orange County. Aside from consulting and fundraising, Brian's professional background is in non-profit operations, events, government relations, advocacy and public policy.
Previously, Brian worked as Operations and Events Manager for the Lincoln Club of Orange County; Senior Communications Consultant for Quimby Group Consulting; and Director of Advocacy and Government Relations for the South Orange County Economic Coalition.
Brian earned his Bachelor's Degree in Communications and graduated cum laude from California State University, Fullerton. He is currently pursuing his Executive MBA at Chapman University’s Argyros School of Business and Economics and is enrolled in Chapman's Argyros Executive Leadership Program. Brian currently serves on the Board of Directors for the California Republic Leadership Academy, a tuition-free charter school in San Juan Capistrano.
In 2022, Brian was sponsored as a Generation Liberty Fellow at the State Policy Network's annual conference. The program recognizes rising leaders from organizations across the country that are empowering their communities through local policy solutions. As a young man, he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout as part of Troop 737, based at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in San Clemente.
